Central Depository Company Unveils Schedule for Unpaid Rights of WASL Mobility Modaraba

Karachi: The Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has announced a comprehensive schedule for managing the unpaid rights of WASL Mobility Modaraba. This initiative, dated March 5, 2026, aims to streamline the process through the Central Depository System (CDS) and enhance investor convenience with the introduction of improved eLOR functionality.

According to the CDC’s notification, the schedule for handling the unpaid rights has been circulated to CDS Elements via the CDS – Notice Management System. The CDC’s vision to enhance customer convenience through innovation is evident in the new eLOR functionality, which allows investors to make payments for Letter of Rights (LOR) subscription requests online via the 1BILL platform. Account holders can generate right subscription requests through the eAccess Portal, whereas sub-account holders must coordinate with their respective participants to generate such requests, maintaining the current practice.

The schedule outlines several key dates and procedures for the unpaid rights of WASL Mobility Modaraba, which will be handled in CDS. The book closure dates are set for March 3, 2026.
