Zuma Resources Limited Shifts from Non-Compliant Segment to Normal Counter on PSX

Karachi: Zuma Resources Limited, previously known as Bilal Fibres Limited, has been transitioned from the Non-Compliant Segment to the Normal Counter on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) effective March 13, 2026. The announcement follows the rectification of various non-compliance issues that had previously positioned the company in the Non-Compliant Segment.

According to the notification dated March 12, 2026, the company addressed issues outlined in PSX Notice No. PSX/N-1339, dated December 10, 2025. These issues included the non-holding of an Annual General Meeting, failure to transmit annual audited financial statements, and the issuance of a Disclaimer of Opinion by the auditor in their audit report.

Zuma Resources Limited has since resumed its commercial and operational activities, aligning with its newly adopted principal line of business as stipulated in its amended Memorandum of Association with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The company’s auditor confirmed the compliance, and the outstanding dues were also settled.

The shift to the Normal Counter was facilitated after Zuma Resources Limited rectified the causes that had led to its placement in the Non-Compliant Segment. This development is expected to have implications for the company’s market activities and investor confidence.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transition reflects the company’s efforts to comply with regulatory standards and re-establish its standing within the financial market. The company’s movement to the Normal Counter is a significant step in its operational revival.
