Karachi: K-Electric Limited, a major player in the energy sector of Pakistan, has announced the election of its new Board of Directors following the company’s Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on April 2, 2026. The directors will serve a term of three years, starting from the date of the meeting.
The newly elected board members include Adeeb Ahmad, Faisal Ahmed Siddiqui, Fahad Sultan Ahmed (who will serve as an Independent Director), Muhammad Kamran Kamal, Mujahid Pervaz, Mubasher H. Sheikh, Mustafa Nasir Farooki, Sameer Chishty, Shaheryar Chishty, and Shan E Abbas Ashary. These individuals were chosen by the members of K-Electric Limited, highlighting a strategic move as the company charts its course for the coming years.
In addition to these elected members, the Government of Pakistan has made significant appointments to the board. The Secretary of the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, and Ali Raza Bhutta have been nominated to serve on the board. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these developments were communicated to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
