Bank Alfalah Declares Interim Cash Dividend Amid Compliance Concerns

Karachi: Bank Alfalah Limited has announced the credit of an interim cash dividend for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The shareholders have been informed that the interim cash dividend is set at Rs. 1.51 per share, translating to 30%, following a decision by the bank’s Board of Directors on April 23, 2026.

The dividend has been directly credited through electronic means to the bank accounts of eligible shareholders, whose information was verified in the Register of Members as of May 5, 2026. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this move represents a significant step in the bank’s efforts to maintain transparency and efficiency in its financial operations.

However, compliance with the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017 has resulted in the withholding of dividend payments for shareholders lacking complete identification and banking information. The Bank Alfalah Limited has communicated with these shareholders, requesting submissions of their National Identity Card (CNIC) and International Bank Account Number (IBAN) details.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to streamline dividend distributions and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Shareholders are urged to provide the necessary documentation to avoid further delays in receiving their entitled dividends.
