Sitara Petroleum Service Limited Set to Debut on Pakistan Stock Exchange


Karachi: Sitara Petroleum Service Limited is scheduled to debut on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) tomorrow, May 21, 2026. The company will commence trading on the Main Board of PSX, marking a significant step for the entity and its stakeholders.



Trading in shares will be conducted on a T+1 settlement basis, with the first settlement date set for May 22, 2026. The market lot for the company will consist of a single share priced at PKR 1 each. Transactions involving these shares are deemed eligible securities by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited and will be settled through the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Sitara Petroleum Service Limited has been assigned the security symbol “SPSL.” The opening price for the company’s shares has been determined at PKR 18.90 per share via the Book Building process. Normal circuit breakers will apply to the opening price in the ready market.



M/s CDC Share Registrar Services Limited will serve as the share registrar for the company, with their office located at CDC House in Karachi. The company will be classified under the “Oil & Gas Marketing Companies” sector in the daily quotation of the exchange.



Sitara Petroleum Service Limited has been deemed Shariah Compliant according to the Shariah Screening Criteria of the KMI All Share Index. As a result, it will be included in the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index (KMIALLSHR) starting from the date of its listing.
