Apollo Textile Mills Limited Faces Extended Suspension of Trading on PSX

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced an extension in the suspension of trading for Apollo Textile Mills Limited shares due to ongoing non-compliance issues. The decision follows a previous notice issued by the PSX on April 24, 2026, and will remain in effect for an additional 60 days starting June 25, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Apollo Textile Mills Limited has yet to address several compliance failures. These include the suspension of commercial production and business operations in its principal line of business, the failure to hold annual general meetings, and the non-submission of annual audited accounts. Additionally, the company has not paid dues owed to the exchange, and a disclaimer of opinion was noted in its audit report. Further complicating matters, a winding-up petition has been filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) against the company in court.

The PSX's decision to extend the trading suspension is based on the powers granted under Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations. Apollo Textile Mills Limited will remain suspended from trading until it rectifies the causes of suspension or until the expiration of the 60-day period.
