Archroma Pakistan Limited Reports Significant Profit Increase Amid Challenging Market Conditions

Karachi: Archroma Pakistan Limited has reported a robust financial performance for the nine-month period ending June 30, 2026, showcasing a significant increase in profits despite navigating through a challenging market landscape influenced by the Middle-East conflict. The company published its quarterly report on July 30, 2026.

According to the report, Archroma achieved net sales of PKR 22,468 million during the nine-month period, marking an increase from PKR 21,508 million in the same period last year. The company attributed this growth to an improved product mix, enhanced capacity utilization, and automation in dyes production. Additionally, the transition of the Landhi production plant to renewable energy contributed to operational efficiencies.

The company's gross profit rose to PKR 6,004 million, up from PKR 5,063 million, and net profitability surged to PKR 1,343 million, compared to PKR 913 million in the previous year, reflecting a very large move of 47%. This improvement was supported by relatively stable foreign exchange rates and reduced borrowing costs.

The board composition of Archroma includes four male and three female directors, with one executive, three non-executive, and three independent directors. The company continues to focus on enhancing production efficiency and cost-reductions to counteract the pressures of ongoing inflation and fluctuating raw material prices.

In the face of supply chain challenges and variable delivery lead times, Archroma maintained its focus on meeting customer expectations, underscoring its resilience and adaptability in a volatile market environment. The positive contributions from the textile and construction industries have bolstered the company's performance, despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle-East.
