Trading Halt on Nirala MSR Foods Limited Shares Continues Amid Compliance Issues

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced that the suspension of trading in the shares of M/s. Nirala MSR Foods Limited will persist, as the company has not yet addressed the issues leading to the suspension. This decision follows an earlier notification, PSX Notice No. PSX/N-708, dated June 12, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading halt is due to the company's failure to comply with several regulatory requirements, including holding its Annual General Meetings and submitting its annual audited accounts. Additionally, the company has not settled its dues with the Exchange, and a winding-up petition has been filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) against Nirala MSR Foods Limited in court.

The PSX has stipulated that the suspension will remain in effect until the company rectifies these compliance issues or for an additional period of 60 days, effective from August 12, 2026. This decision is based on the authority granted to the Exchange under Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations.

The situation places Nirala MSR Foods Limited in the designated market category for companies facing regulatory action, and it underscores the importance of adherence to financial and operational regulations to maintain market stability.
