Karachi: Tariq Corporation Limited has disclosed substantial share transactions by its directors, CEO, and a substantial shareholder, according to a report filed on August 11, 2026, under Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4.

The transactions, executed on August 7, 2026, involved several key figures within the company. Ahmed Ali Tariq, the Chairman, acquired 7,528,750 shares through the Central Depository Company (CDC) mechanism, bringing his total to 29.44 million shares, which constitutes a 35.92 percent stake in the company. Concurrently, CEO Mustafa Ali Tariq increased his holdings by 5,300,730 shares, also via CDC, resulting in a cumulative total of 27.52 million shares, or 33.56 percent of the company's shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), other directors also participated in this acquisition. Mrs. Fauzia Abbas and Azher Fazal, both Independent Directors, obtained 119 shares each in physical form. Their cumulative holdings now stand at 619 shares each, representing 0.001 percent of the company's total shares.

Additional transactions were conducted by M. Imran Khan, who acquired 306 shares through CDC, increasing his holding to 1,592 shares, or 0.002 percent. Raza Elahi, another Independent Director, purchased 67,107 shares, raising his total to 348,415 shares, equating to 0.42 percent ownership.

Furthermore, substantial shareholder Danish Elahi executed a transaction for 2,258,704 shares through CDC, elevating his share count to 11.73 million, which accounts for 14.30 percent of the corporation's total shares.
