Lahore: Dandot Cement Company Limited has announced the successful finalization of financing arrangements for its Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Plant. According to a report dated August 13, 2026, the company disclosed that it has established the necessary Letters of Credit (LCs) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of the WHR Plant in favor of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited.
The WHR Plant project, primarily financed through Bank Islami under the renewable energy sector, is expected to significantly enhance the company's energy efficiency. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the project will also reduce operating costs, lower carbon emissions, and generate captive power by utilizing waste heat from the manufacturing process. These advancements are anticipated to positively impact Dandot Cement's long-term profitability and sustainable growth.
