Karachi: Gharibwal Cement Limited has announced a temporary halt in its clinker production following the damage to the kiln ID fan during operation. According to a report dated August 17, 2026, the company has initiated essential repair and maintenance activities to address the issue.

The company's disclosure, made in compliance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book, highlights that the replacement ID fan and its components have already been procured from the manufacturer.
