Karachi: Lotte Chemical Pakistan Ltd. has issued a final notice to shareholders regarding unclaimed dividends under Section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017, as reported on August 20, 2026. This announcement is set to be published in newspapers on August 21, 2026.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice pertains to dividends declared by the company that have remained unclaimed or unpaid for over three years. Shareholders were initially notified on May 20, 2026, regarding final dividend D-11 for the year ended December 31, 2022, and interim dividend D-12 for the year ended December 31, 2023. These notifications were sent via registered post to the last known addresses of shareholders, urging them to submit claims within a three-month period.
Despite this, only a few shareholders have lodged their claims. As a result, Lotte Chemical Pakistan Ltd. is once again inviting shareholders to submit their claims within 90 days of this notice. If no claims are received within the specified period, the company will deposit the unclaimed amounts with the Federal Government, in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017.
