Karachi: Alfalah Asset Management Limited announced its financial results for the Alfalah Consumer Index Exchange Traded Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The board of directors approved these results during a meeting held on August 21, 2026, at the Islamic Chamber of Commerce in Karachi.
According to the report, the fund's total assets increased to 86.43 million rupees, up from 68.91 million rupees in 2025, marking a significant move of 25.42%. This increase was primarily driven by a rise in investments, which grew to 80.88 million rupees from 64.27 million rupees in the previous year.
Meanwhile, the liabilities of the fund saw a substantial decrease, falling to 1.42 million rupees from 4.30 million rupees in 2025. This reduction led to an increase in net assets, which rose to 85.01 million rupees from 64.61 million rupees, translating to a very large move of 31.57%.
The number of units issued increased to 4.66 million from 4.20 million, with the net asset value per unit climbing to 18.24 rupees from 15.38 rupees, representing a big move of 18.58%.
In terms of income, the fund reported a total income of 15.42 million rupees, down from 23.79 million rupees in 2025. Despite this decline, the net income from operating activities amounted to 13.41 million rupees, compared to 22.58 million rupees in the previous year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the earnings per unit of the Alfalah Consumer Index Exchange Traded Fund have also shown improvement. The fund's comprehensive income for the year stood at 14.07 million rupees, compared to 24.29 million rupees in the previous year.
The unit holders' fund saw growth, closing at 85.01 million rupees, up from 64.61 million rupees in 2025. This increase was attributed to the rise in both capital value and undistributed income, which reached 58.87 million rupees and 26.13 million rupees, respectively.
Alfalah Asset Management Limited's strategic decisions and management efficiencies have contributed to these financial outcomes, placing the Alfalah Consumer Index Exchange Traded Fund in a favorable position within its market category.
