Karachi: Certificates of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) that were previously reported lost have now been found, according to a recent report by FAMCO Share Registration Services (Pvt) Ltd. The certificates, belonging to Mrs. Zarina Jamil, were initially reported missing but have since been recovered, as noted in the report dated September 1, 2026.
The certificates in question, identified by Folio No. 49468, include 1,000 shares of PTCL, split across two distinct certificate numbers: 1701986 and 1701987. Each certificate accounts for 500 shares. The distinctive numbers for these certificates range from 35004501 to 35005500.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the recovery of these certificates allows members of the exchange to once again engage in transactions involving these shares as usual. The certificates are registered under the address A - 561, Block - 3, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
The PTCL shares were temporarily unavailable for trading due to the initial report of loss. However, with the certificates now accounted for, normal trading activities can resume.
