Faysal Bank Credits 15% Interim Dividend to Shareholders

Karachi: Faysal Bank Limited has successfully credited an interim cash dividend of Rs. 1.5 per share, which translates to a 15% payout, directly into the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) of shareholders. This dividend pertains to the second quarter ending June 30, 2026, and was deposited on August 28, 2026, as per the company's announcement dated September 1, 2026.

The bank disclosed that, in compliance with the directives of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), dividends for shareholders who have not provided valid IBANs have been withheld. Shareholders are urged to furnish their valid IBANs to the relevant Participant/CDC Investor Account Services or the Bank's Share Registrar, in addition to a legible copy of their valid CNIC.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Faysal Bank Limited's dividend actions align with market expectations, given the current economic climate and regulatory environment. The designated market category remains consistent with the bank's financial maneuvers.

For shareholders with non-repatriable status and holding a Pakistan Origin Card/passport, dividends will be credited to their registered local IBAN accounts. Those with repatriable status will receive payments as per the State Bank of Pakistan's directives outlined in Chapter 20 of the Foreign Exchange Manual.

Faysal Bank has also advised that system errors or non-responses from a shareholder's designated bank may result in delays in dividend distribution. Affected shareholders are advised to contact the Company's Share Registrar for assistance. In case of non-receipt of dividends, shareholders should provide written communication to the Share Registrar, including their Folio or CDC Account Number, to resolve the issue.
