Karachi: Askari Bank Limited has announced the misplacement of several share certificates, as detailed in a report released by CDC Share Registrar Services Limited on September 2, 2026. The issue involves a total of 834 shares, with two shareholders reporting the loss.

According to the report, Mr. Muhammad Zia-Uddin Farooqi has reported the loss of two share certificates, consisting of 407 shares. The certificates, numbered 622298 and 786530, cover distinctive numbers ranging from 100,684,428 to 100,684,446 and from 538,096,269 to 538,096,656, respectively.

Additionally, Col. Vaqar Ahmed has reported the loss of three share certificates, totaling 427 shares. The certificates, numbered 790430, 798964, and 807338, correspond to distinctive numbers ranging from 540,207,361 to 540,207,699, from 645,411,529 to 645,411,561, and from 711,344,752 to 711,344,806, respectively.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the exchange has circulated this information among its members, advising them not to engage in transactions involving the mentioned share certificates. Should no objections be received within three days following the notice's circulation by the PSX, duplicate certificates will be issued to the concerned shareholders, and no further claims will be entertained by the company.
