Nimir Industrial Chemicals Reports Significant Profit Surge Amid Dividend Announcement

Lahore: Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited has announced a significant increase in its financial performance for the year ended June 30, 2026, according to a report issued on September 10, 2026. The Board of Directors convened on September 9, 2026, in Lahore to review and approve the audited financial statements, revealing a robust profit surge.

The company reported a profit after tax of 2.39 billion rupees for the year, marking a rise from the previous year's 2.02 billion rupees. Earnings per share increased to 21.64 rupees from the previous 18.29 rupees. This was achieved on the back of net revenues amounting to 48.29 billion rupees, compared to 45.26 billion rupees in 2025.

Despite a finance cost of 1.80 billion rupees, down from 2.36 billion rupees in the prior year, Nimir Industrial Chemicals maintained a strong operating profit of 6.28 billion rupees, an increase from 5.40 billion rupees. The company declared a final cash dividend of 20%, equivalent to 2.0 rupees per share, supplementing an interim cash dividend of 40% or 4.0 rupees per share paid earlier.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Nimir's gross profit rose to 7.59 billion rupees from 6.69 billion rupees, showcasing a big move in profitability. The substantial increase in other income to 365.51 million rupees from 160.74 million rupees also contributed to this financial performance.

The 33rd Annual General Meeting of the company is scheduled for October 19, 2026, in Sheikhupura. Shareholders registered by October 12, 2026, will be eligible to attend and vote at the meeting. The company's share transfer books will be closed from October 13 to October 19, 2026.
