Pakistan Stock Exchange Issues Risk Warning Alert Against Dadabhoy Cement Industries Limited

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has issued a Risk Warning Alert (RWA) against Dadabhoy Cement Industries Limited (DBCI) for failing to comply with regulatory obligations, as noted in a report dated September 17, 2026. DBCI has been given until October 19, 2026, to address its non-compliance by settling outstanding dues.

The alert, which follows PSX Notice No. PSX/N-899 from July 20, 2026, highlights DBCI's failure to meet the requirements of clause 5.21.1. of the PSX Regulations. In the event of non-compliance by the stipulated deadline, the PSX may enforce further measures under clause 5.11.3.(e), potentially including a mandatory buy-back directive to the company's major shareholders or sponsors.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), even if DBCI remedies the specific non-compliance by October 19, it will continue to be listed on the Non-Compliant Segment. This status will persist due to additional unresolved non-compliance issues related to PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(a), necessitating further rectification efforts by DBCI.

Market participants and relevant stakeholders are advised to take note of these developments as the compliance deadline approaches.
