First Paramount Modaraba Credits Right Securities to CDC Accounts

Karachi: First Paramount Modaraba has successfully credited 1,412,275 Right securities into the Central Depository System (CDS) accounts of its certificate holders, as confirmed in correspondence received on September 23, 2026. This development follows a confirmation from the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) regarding the allotment, which was initially communicated on September 22, 2026.

According to the official records, the current paid-up capital of First Paramount Modaraba stands at 20,682,630 securities. The recent allotment was part of a right issue, with Certificate Holders subscribing within the designated timeframe having their certificates duly allotted and credited on September 23, 2026. Any discrepancy in the credited securities is to be reported immediately to CDC.

The company's management has been diligent in adhering to the regulatory framework, including the Companies Act, 2017, and the Companies Regulations, 2024. The process has been verified by an auditor's certificate, confirming the subscription money received and the compliance with regulatory requirements.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), First Paramount Modaraba's revised issued, subscribed, and paid-up share capital is Rs. 153,377,413, comprising 15,337,742 ordinary shares with a face value of Rs. 10 each. The subscription money received amounted to Rs. 15,493,220, correlating to the issuance of 1,549,322 ordinary shares.

Certificate holders who opted for physical form subscription can collect their Right Certificates from the Modaraba's Share Registrar, THK Associates (Private) Limited, upon surrendering the original Paid Letter of Rights. Alternatively, requests for postal dispatch of physical certificates can be made by submitting the requisite documents to the Share Registrar.

The Central Depository Company has concluded the documentation processes related to the allotment and credit of securities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and CDC requirements. The market has been duly informed, and all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a seamless transition for the Certificate Holders involved in this exercise.
