Karachi: In a recent announcement impacting market participants, a revised trading and settlement schedule for The Searl Company Limited's deliverable future contracts was unveiled on September 25, 2026. This adjustment is attributed to the company's book closure date, altering the schedules for DFC-OCT-26 and DFC-NOV-26. These changes were initially communicated via notices PSX/N-956 and PSX/N-1067 issued on July 31 and August 28, 2026, respectively.

The November contract follows a similar pattern, opening on August 31, 2026, closing on October 2, 2026, and settling by October 5, 2026.
For trading and settlement schedules excluding entitlement benefits, the October contract, labeled OCTB, will open on September 28, 2026, and close on October 30, 2026, with settlement on November 2, 2026. The November contract, referred to as NOVB, also opens on September 28, 2026, but extends to a closing date of November 27, 2026, with settlement on November 30, 2026.
