Karachi: Gammon Pakistan Limited, a prominent player in the construction and engineering sector, released its consolidated financial statement for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The statement, dated October 7, 2026, reveals a minor decrease in the company's total assets, which amounted to 1.07 billion rupees, down from the previous year's 1.09 billion rupees.
The financial report indicates a minor change in the company's asset portfolio. The non-current assets of Gammon Pakistan Limited showed an increase, rising from 769.46 million rupees in 2025 to 827.10 million rupees in 2026. This growth was primarily driven by improvements in work in progress, which increased significantly from 18.28 million rupees to 66.16 million rupees. However, the current assets saw a decline, dropping from 317.76 million rupees in the previous year to 247.09 million rupees, largely attributed to reduced cash and bank balances.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's equity attributable to the owners of the holding company increased to 774.10 million rupees from 767.71 million rupees last year. This increase is supported by a rise in revaluation surplus on property, plant, and equipment, climbing from 118.25 million rupees to 124.16 million rupees.
On the liabilities side, Gammon Pakistan Limited reported a decrease in non-current liabilities, which fell from 14.24 million rupees to 4.57 million rupees, due to the elimination of deferred taxation. In contrast, the current liabilities remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 227.17 million rupees to 225.71 million rupees.
The report further highlights that the non-controlling interest in the company decreased from 78.09 million rupees to 69.81 million rupees. Additionally, there were no changes in contingencies and commitments during this reporting period.
These financial results underscore a modest shift in Gammon Pakistan Limited's financial position, with a minor decrease in overall assets but improvements in specific segments of the asset base.
