Faisalabad: J. A. Textile Mills Limited has announced the scheduling of its Annual General Meeting, set to take place on October 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM. On the agenda is the confirmation of the minutes from the previous Annual General Meeting held on October 28, 2025. "RESOLVED THAT subject to passing of a resolution of J. A. Textile Mills Limited ("Company") by way of simple majority, permission and approval to the Company be and is hereby accorded for circulation of annual audited financial statements to members through QR enabled code and weblink within and as a part of the notice of general meeting, in line with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan notification number S.R.O. 389(1)/2023, and as a consequence thereof, the practice of circulation of annual audited financial statements through CD be discontinued."
Further resolutions emphasize the company's commitment to adhering to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the transmission of notices for general meetings and the circulation of annual reports, as stipulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission Notification dated March 21, 2023.
The meeting will also entertain any other business as permitted by the chair, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all pertinent issues facing the company.
