Trading Suspension on Nirala MSR Foods Limited Shares Continues

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced an extension to the suspension of trading in the shares of Nirala MSR Foods Limited. This decision, effective from October 11, 2026, follows the company's continued non-compliance with several regulatory requirements.

The PSX had initially issued a notice, PSX/N-992, on August 11, 2026, addressing the company's failure to adhere to Clauses 5.11.1.(b) (c) (d) and 5.11.2.(b) of the PSX Regulations. These clauses pertain to the company's obligation to hold Annual General Meetings, submit audited annual accounts, and settle dues owed to the exchange. Additionally, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has filed a winding-up petition against the company in court.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the suspension will remain in place until the company rectifies the causes of suspension or for another 60-day period. This decision is based on the powers granted to the exchange under Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations.

The situation places Nirala MSR Foods Limited in a challenging position as it navigates the regulatory procedures required to resume normal trading operations. The market will closely monitor the company's actions in the coming weeks to determine any progress in addressing these issues.
