Quice Food Industries Reports 74% Revenue Growth Amid Challenging Conditions

Karachi: Quice Food Industries Limited has announced its financial results for the year ending June 30, 2026, highlighting significant growth despite a challenging operating environment. The company reported a 74% increase in revenue, reaching PKR 1.904 billion, up from PKR 1.094 billion in the previous year. This growth was attributed to a favorable portfolio mix and strategic market execution.

The geopolitical tensions in the region during the first half of 2026 posed challenges for Quice Food Industries, with disruptions in the movement of goods leading to shipment delays and higher freight costs. Additionally, fluctuations in fuel prices contributed to volatility in both input and distribution costs. Domestically, inflationary pressures led to an increase in the policy rate, affecting consumer purchasing power and overall demand.

Despite these challenges, the company maintained a strong focus on cost management, operational efficiency, and supply continuity. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Quice Food Industries achieved a 78% increase in gross profit, amounting to PKR 332.779 million, compared to PKR 186.999 million in the previous year. The company also recorded a profit after tax of PKR 0.651 million, a significant improvement from a loss of PKR 11.731 million in the prior year.

The company's strategic initiatives, including enhanced market penetration and distribution network expansion, contributed to increased demand for its products. Despite inflationary pressures, Quice Food Industries managed to maintain a robust gross profit ratio through stronger export margins and improved operational efficiencies.

Quice Food Industries' Board of Directors comprises seven members, including five male and two female directors. The board is composed of two independent directors, two executive directors, and three non-executive directors. All directors attended five board meetings during the financial year.

The company's internal financial controls are overseen by the Board of Directors, with policies and procedures established to ensure effective governance and compliance. The effectiveness of these controls is periodically reviewed by the Internal Audit Function, which provides assurance on the adequacy of the control environment and recommends improvements as necessary.
