Karachi: Globe Textile Mills Limited has released its financial results for the first quarter ending September 30, 2025, revealing a lack of revenue and an increase in net loss compared to the same period last year. The company has reported a net loss of Rs. 290,000 for the quarter, a rise from the Rs. 205,000 loss recorded in the corresponding quarter of 2024.

The financial disclosures, dated October 19, 2026, indicate that Globe Textile Mills Limited's assets, both non-current and current, remain unchanged at Rs. 50.387 million since June 30, 2025. Current assets include Rs. 50.345 million due from related parties and a mere Rs. 42,000 in cash and bank balances.

The company's equity and liabilities section shows a slight decrease in accumulated loss, from Rs. 131.382 million in June to Rs. 131.672 million by the end of September. Current liabilities have seen a moderate move with an increase to Rs. 18.395 million from Rs. 18.105 million previously.

The condensed interim statement of profit or loss for the quarter reveals no net revenue, coupled with fixed overhead costs of Rs. 290,000. This has resulted in a gross loss of the same amount, exacerbating the company's financial position as no other income or finance costs were recorded during the period.

Despite the challenging quarter, Globe Textile Mills Limited's total equity and liabilities have remained consistent at Rs. 50.387 million, indicating the company's capacity to manage its financial structure amidst ongoing operational challenges in the textile market category.
