Karachi: The Board of Directors of Secure Logistics Trax Group Limited (SLG Trax) has unveiled the company's third-quarter and nine-month financial results for the fiscal year 2026, ending September 30. Despite a challenging economic landscape marked by high inflation and subdued business sentiment, SLG Trax reported robust financial performance and strategic expansions in key business areas.
On October 28, 2026, the directors' review report highlighted that the macroeconomic indicators in the region continue to be under pressure due to domestic and regional political and security concerns. Imported inflation, primarily driven by soaring fuel prices, has significantly impacted the domestic economy, with the national inflation index surpassing 11% year-on-year. However, SLG Trax has managed to mitigate the effects of these economic challenges through a structured client contract framework, incorporating Fuel Adjustment Factors in invoicing, and maintaining strict expense controls.
The company's financial results reveal a notable increase in revenue and profitability. For the nine-month period ending September 30, 2026, SLG Trax reported a revenue of PKR 2,656 million, compared to PKR 2,356 million for the same period in 2025. Profit before income taxes and levy surged to PKR 617 million from PKR 520 million, while profit after taxation rose to PKR 884 million from PKR 716 million in the previous year. Earnings per share for the nine months stood at PKR 2.10, underscoring the company's sustained growth.
SLG Trax's E-commerce business line (BL) experienced a 1.5x increase in delivery volumes during Q3, compared to Q2 FY2026, driven by the addition of corporate and retail clients and expanded geographical coverage. The company now operates through 123 owned and 69 franchised premises nationwide. Moreover, in a strategic move to enhance its warehousing capacities, SLG Trax recently established a 35,000 square feet facility in Lahore, augmenting its total warehousing capacity in the city to 55,000 square feet.
The company has also made significant strides in digital lending, processing over PKR 48 billion in digital payments and disbursing more than PKR 8 billion through over 3 million cash-on-delivery financing transactions by the end of September 2026. The digitized finance initiatives are poised for a formal launch, with plans to scale up the deployed capital.
SLG Trax's strategic value addition projects include the induction of electric vehicles (EVs) and motorcycles for last-mile deliveries. The company expects to integrate the first batch of 40-45 EV vehicles by December 2026, with additional batches scheduled for January 2027. These initiatives are supported by the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund, which will subsidize the markup up to Kibor on funding facilities.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), SLG Trax's financial performance reflects a very large or significant move in profitability, with a 44.44% increase in profit before income taxes and levy for the three months ending September 30, 2026, compared to the same period in 2025. The company's strategic expansions and financial resilience amid economic challenges position it as a leading player in Pakistan's logistics and e-commerce sectors.
