Lahore: In a recent filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Altern Energy Limited disclosed two separate share sale transactions by non-executive director, Mr. Shah Muhammad Ch. The transactions, dated April 24 and 25, 2024, involved significant quantities of company shares and were conducted in compliance with PSX Regulation 5.6.4, which mandates timely disclosure by relevant insiders.

On April 24, Mr. Shah sold 17,695 shares at a rate of Rs. 21.01 each, while on April 25, he sold another 3,500 shares at Rs. 20.88 each. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these sales are part of routine financial management by Mr. Shah, whose cumulative shareholding post-transactions remains substantial at 3,633,000 shares, representing a 0.01 percent stake in the company.

These transactions were processed through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the ready market, emphasizing the transparency and regulatory adherence expected of corporate executives.
