Karachi: Apna Microfinance Bank Limited has announced the execution of several transactions involving the allocation of ordinary shares to various shareholders, as disclosed under the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations on July 28, 2026. The transactions were conducted under section 83(1)/(b) of the Companies Act, 2017, in conjunction with regulation 5 of the Companies (Further issue of Shares) Regulations, 2020, with prior approval obtained from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
The announcement detailed the allocation of shares to prominent stakeholders. Mr. Muhammad Akram Shahid received 4,930,381 shares, bringing his cumulative holdings to 27,189,958 shares, representing a 4.99 percent ownership in the company. United Track System (Private) Limited was allotted 43,329,938 shares, elevating their total to 126,310,610 shares, which accounts for a 23.17 percent stake.
United Software And Technologies International (Private) Limited acquired 29,707,880 shares, resulting in a cumulative total of 40,762,144 shares, equating to a 7.48 percent shareholding. In addition, Tawasul Healthcare TPA (Private) Limited received 17,341,840 shares, increasing their total to 24,308,890 shares, representing a 4.46 percent share. Lastly, Tawasul Risk Management Services (Private) Limited was allotted 20,745,670 shares, culminating in a total of 23,211,170 shares and a 4.26 percent ownership.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions were conducted through the Central Depository Company (CDC) and were categorized as allocations other than by right offer. The designated market category for these transactions is 'Through CDC'. Each share was priced at 10 units, as per the terms of the transactions.
