Apna Microfinance Bank Limited Credits 116.06 Million Shares to CDS

Karachi: Apna Microfinance Bank Limited has successfully credited 116,055,709 ordinary shares into the Central Depository System (CDS), marking a notable transaction in Pakistan's financial market. The shares, each valued at Rs. 10, were issued by way of other than right offer, a move that has been confirmed by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited.

According to the announcement made on July 28, 2026, these shares have been integrated into shareholders' accounts or sub-accounts in the CDS. This transaction follows the receipt of the confirmation letter number OPS/CA/FI/098, dated July 28, 2026, which verified the crediting of the shares at the close of the business day on July 27, 2026.

The issuance has been approved by both the bank's members and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, highlighting a strategic expansion of the bank's capital base. As part of this allocation, United Track System (Pvt.) Limited received 43,329,938 shares, United Software and Technologies International (Pvt.) Limited acquired 29,707,880 shares, Tawasul Healthcare TPA (Private) Limited was allotted 17,341,840 shares, Tawasul Risk Management Services (Private) Limited gained 20,745,670 shares, and Mr. Muhammad Akram Shahid obtained 4,930,381 shares.

The issuance is set to increase Apna Microfinance Bank Limited's paid-up capital from 4.29 billion rupees to 5.45 billion rupees. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this adjustment represents a significant enhancement of the bank's financial structure.

The latest figures indicate that the bank's total paid-up capital now stands at 545,040,671 securities, signifying a substantial increase and reflecting the bank's strategic initiatives to bolster its market position.
