Apna Microfinance Bank Limited to Appoint New CEO in Upcoming Board Meeting

Lahore: Apna Microfinance Bank Limited has scheduled a board meeting on September 30, 2024, to deliberate on the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer/President for the bank.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the upcoming meeting will not address the bank's financial results but will focus solely on the executive appointment, underscoring a pivotal moment in the bank's leadership transition. The decision to appoint a new CEO is critical as it will direct the bank's strategic approach and operations going forward.

In alignment with PSX regulations, particularly Closed Period 5.6.1.(d), the bank has also announced a "Closed Period" from September 25, 2024, to September 30, 2024. During this period, no director, CEO, or executive is allowed to buy or sell company shares, aiming to prevent insider trading and maintain market fairness.
