Karachi, Apna Microfinance Bank Limited faced significant financial challenges throughout 2023, culminating in substantial losses by year-end. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank reported escalating losses over successive periods, with the most severe in the annual results of December 31, 2023, where the pre-tax loss reached 3,560.304 million PKR and the after-tax loss was 3,593.816 million PKR. The EPS deteriorated progressively, ending at -8.38 PKR. The company will hold its Annual General Meeting on June 21, 2024, to discuss these results further.
