Aruj Industries Limited Granted Additional Extension to Resolve Regulatory Non-Compliance

Karachi: Aruj Industries Limited has been granted a further extension by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) until September 15, 2026, to address its ongoing non-compliance with PSX Regulation 5.11.1(d). This decision follows the initial period of leniency provided by PSX, as outlined in Notice No. PSX/N-891 dated July 16, 2026, which allowed the company until August 26, 2026, to rectify its regulatory shortcomings.

On August 25, 2026, the PSX announced that Aruj Industries has demonstrated partial progress by settling some of its outstanding dues and reaffirming its commitment to full compliance. The company has formally requested an extension to September 15, 2026, to clear the remaining obligations. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this additional extension has been granted in accordance with PSX Regulation 5.11.9.

Failure to meet the new deadline will result in Aruj Industries' case being forwarded to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for the initiation of winding-up proceedings under the Companies Act, 2017, as per PSX Regulation 5.11.3(g). Should the company succeed in resolving its non-compliance by the stipulated date, it will continue to be listed in the Non-Compliant Segment in line with PSX Regulation 5.11.1(g) until all issues are resolved.

Aruj Industries, categorized under the designated market category, remains under scrutiny as it works towards fulfilling its regulatory obligations.
