Karachi: ARUJ Industries Limited has received approval for an extension to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2024. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has granted this extension through a notification issued on October 7, 2024.
According to the official letter dated October 7, 2024, SECP has allowed ARUJ Industries to postpone the AGM initially scheduled for 2024 to November 27, 2024. Additionally, the company has received a 30-day extension for the submission of its first quarterly accounts for the period ending September 30, 2024. This document also included a copy of the SECP's approval for record and reference purposes.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the delay in the AGM and the reporting of quarterly financial results allows ARUJ Industries additional time to prepare and present comprehensive financial statements and corporate updates to its shareholders.
TREC holders and other stakeholders have been advised of these changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining transparency in corporate governance practices.
