Atlas Asset Management Limited Reports Mixed Financial Performance for Fiscal Year 2025-26

Karachi: The Board of Directors of Atlas Asset Management Limited (AAML) has released its annual reports for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, detailing the financial performance of its various funds. The reports cover Atlas Money Market Fund (AMF), Atlas Liquid Fund (ALF), Atlas Sovereign Fund (ASF), Atlas Income Fund (AIF), Atlas Stock Market Fund (ASMF), Atlas Financial Sector Fund (AFSF), and Atlas Dividend Yield Fund (ADYF).

The earnings per unit for the funds showed varied performances. Notably, the Atlas Stock Market Fund (ASMF) registered substantial earnings per unit at Rs. 667.91, while the Atlas Money Market Fund (AMF) and Atlas Liquid Fund (ALF) reported Rs. 52.52 and Rs. 54.53 respectively. The Atlas Financial Sector Fund (AFSF) saw earnings of Rs. 2.84 per unit, and Atlas Dividend Yield Fund (ADYF) reported Rs. 2.41.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the net assets of the funds also fluctuated. The Atlas Stock Market Fund (ASMF) reported net assets of Rs. 42,483.77 million, reflecting a big move in its return year-to-date of 40.15%. In contrast, the Atlas Financial Sector Fund (AFSF) experienced a negative return of -0.42%, indicating a moderate move from its previous performance.

The sales and redemptions of units also varied across the funds. AMF saw significant sales amounting to Rs. 126.39 million, while redemptions amounted to Rs. 118.01 million. Meanwhile, ALF's sales were reported at Rs. 29.70 million, with redemptions totaling Rs. 32.05 million.

The income distribution policies of the funds were approved by the Investment Committee. The Atlas Money Market Fund (AMF) declared an interim distribution of Rs. 52.7128 per unit, equating to a total payout of 10.54% for FY 2025-26. Similarly, the Atlas Liquid Fund (ALF) approved a distribution of Rs. 51.2884 per unit, translating to a total payout of 10.26%.

In a related development, the Atlas Gold Fund, which was revoked on November 3, 2017, has disbursed an amount of Rs. 210.29 million to investors as a final settlement. The fund's reversal of provisioning against the Sindh Workers' Welfare Fund amounted to Rs. 668,356 million, which has been settled along with post-revocation profit.
