Karachi: Atlas Battery Limited has successfully credited the final cash dividend for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, at a rate of Rs. 20.00 per share, which translates to a substantial 200% dividend, into the designated bank accounts of its shareholders as of September 30, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this significant return to shareholders underscores the company's robust financial health and commitment to rewarding its investors. The electronic payment system facilitated a smooth transfer, reflecting the company’s adherence to modern, efficient practices and regulatory requirements.

The dividends were distributed in compliance with the Companies Act, 2017, and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017. However, some shareholders faced withholding due to incorrect or incomplete information on record. Atlas Battery has advised those affected to update their details, including bank account information and valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) numbers, to receive their dividends without further delay.

For shareholders maintaining their investments through the Central Depository System (CDS), Atlas Battery has directed them to submit their bank mandate information directly to the relevant participant or CDC Investor Account Service.
