Karachi: Awwal Modaraba Management Limited has announced its intention to relocate its registered office from Karachi to Lahore, as detailed in a public notice published in "The Nation" and "Nawa-i-Waqat" newspapers on July 15, 2025. This proposal follows a resolution passed by the company's shareholders during their Annual General Meeting on May 29, 2025.

The notice outlines the proposed shift from the current location at Horizon Vista, Commercial Plot No. 10, Block No. 4, Scheme No. 5, Clifton, Karachi, to a new location at 818, 8th Floor, Hi-Q Tower, Jail Road, Gulberg-5, Lahore. The company manages Wasl Mobility Modaraba, formerly known as First Prudential Modaraba.

Stakeholders, including certificate holders and the general public, have been invited to submit any objections to the proposed relocation. According to the notice, written objections must be submitted within fourteen days from the notice's publication.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the announcement has not led to any significant changes in the market performance of Awwal Modaraba Management Limited. The designated market category remains stable with a minor move observed in share prices.

The application for the office relocation is currently under review by the Registrar Modaraba Companies & Modarabas, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Approval from the registrar is pending, and stakeholders are being informed as part of the regulatory compliance process.
