Lahore: Azgard Nine Limited has announced that its Thirty First Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Members will be held on October 28, 2024, in Lahore, Pakistan. The meeting is set to cover several key business matters.

The agenda for the AGM includes the confirmation of minutes from the Extraordinary General Meeting held on April 3, 2024. Members will also receive, consider, and adopt the audited financial statements for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2024. This includes reports from the directors, auditors, and a review from the Chairman. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), another significant item on the agenda is the reappointment of the company’s statutory auditors, Messers Grant Thornton Anjum Rahman, Chartered Accountants, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Their remuneration will also be decided during the meeting.

The Board of Directors, following a recommendation from the Audit Committee, has endorsed the reappointment of the retiring auditors, who have expressed their willingness to continue in their role. Additionally, the AGM will address any other business that arises with the permission of the Chair.
