Karachi: Bank Alfalah Limited has announced the disbursement of its third interim cash dividend for the quarter ending September 30, 2024, as reported by newspaper clippings in daily "Business Recorder" and "Express" on November 12, 2024.

The board of directors of Bank Alfalah declared a cash dividend of Rs. 2 per share, equivalent to a 20% payout, during their meeting on October 17, 2024. This dividend has been credited directly into the designated bank accounts of eligible shareholders through electronic means. Eligibility was determined based on the shareholders' presence in the register of members as of the close of business on October 30, 2024, and the provision of valid National Identity Card numbers alongside complete bank account or IBAN details.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders can access the Centralised Cash Dividend Register, developed by the Central Depository Company (CDC), to verify their dividend details. This can be done through the online portal at https://eservices.cdcaccess.com.pk for record-keeping purposes.

The bank has withheld dividend payments for shareholders whose CNIC or IBAN information is incomplete or missing, in compliance with the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017. Letters and reminders have been sent to these shareholders, urging them to submit the necessary information to facilitate the release of the withheld dividends. Shareholders are requested to provide a legible copy of their valid CNIC to resolve this issue.
