Islamabad: Bank Makramah Limited has announced that it will hold its Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) on December 26, 2024, in Islamabad. The meeting is a significant event for the bank's shareholders and stakeholders.

The bank has informed that the share transfer books will be closed from December 20 to December 26, 2024, inclusive of both dates. Transfers submitted to the Shares Registrar in Karachi by the close of business on December 19, 2024, will be considered timely for entitlement to participate in the EOGM.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice of the EOGM, including a statement of material facts under section 134(3) of the Companies Act, 2017, was published on December 5, 2024. The announcement appeared in two newspapers, Dawn and Daily Duniya, in English and Urdu respectively. Copies of the notice have been provided to relevant parties.

The bank has requested that the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange be informed accordingly about the upcoming meeting.
