Bank of Punjab Approves Financial Statements and Dividend at Annual General Meeting


Lahore: The Bank of Punjab held its 4th Annual General Meeting on March 25, 2025, where several key resolutions were passed and approved by the members. The meeting took place at 5 p.m. and was attended by stakeholders who reviewed and accepted the financial and operational proposals for the upcoming fiscal year.



During the meeting, members approved the annual audited financial statements of the bank, both standalone and consolidated, for the year that ended on December 31, 2024. These financial statements were accompanied by the Report of Directors and the Auditors, reflecting the bank’s financial activities and performance over the past year.



Another significant resolution passed was the approval of a final cash dividend of Rs.1.80 per share, which represents an 18% return for the year ended December 31, 2024. This decision highlights the bank’s commitment to providing returns to its shareholders.



Furthermore, the proposal to retain M/s A.F. Ferguson and Co., Chartered Accountants, as the bank’s statutory auditors for the year ending December 31, 2025, was also approved. The remuneration for these services, including the audit of the bank’s financial statements and periodic review as per regulatory requirements, was set at Rs.7.20 million, along with out-of-pocket expenses as per actual costs.

The approval of these key resolutions ensures that the bank remains aligned with its financial goals and obligations.
