Karachi: BankIslami Pakistan Limited has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on February 27, 2025, to deliberate on the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the bank's registered office in Karachi at 10:30 A.M.
In line with regulatory requirements, the bank has instituted a "Closed Period" commencing from February 20, 2025, and extending through February 27, 2025. During this period, as outlined in Clause 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations, directors, the chief executive, and executives of BankIslami are restricted from engaging in any transactions involving the bank's shares, either directly or indirectly.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the closed period aims to prevent insider trading and maintain market integrity. The bank has communicated these details to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
The forthcoming meeting will address the declaration of any entitlements based on the financial performance of BankIslami for the year 2024.
