Karachi: BankIslami has issued a notification regarding the book closure dates for the upcoming monthly profit payment of its Ehad Sukuk I (BIPLSC).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice of book closure was published in "The Nation" in English and "Daily Nawai-Waqt" in Urdu, both dated August 20, 2024. This announcement is significant for TRE Certificate Holders and investors, indicating the timeline for profit entitlement.

The book closure is set from August 30, 2024, to August 31, 2024, inclusive of both days, to determine the entitlement to the profit payment. BankIslami specifies that all transfer requests must be received at CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi by the end of August 29, 2024, to be processed in time for the profit payment due at the end of the month.

This procedural closure ensures that all entitled investors are accurately recorded and receive their due profits from the Sukuk, reflecting the bank's adherence to regulatory requirements and commitment to timely shareholder communications.
