Karachi: BankIslami has published a notice regarding the upcoming book closure for its Ehad Sukuk II (BIPLSC2), detailing the schedule for monthly profit payments to certificate holders. The book closure is set to determine entitlements to the profit for September 2024.

According to the notice, the transfer books for BankIslami Ehad Sukuk II will remain closed from September 28, 2024, to September 30, 2024, inclusive of both days. This closure period will allow the bank to finalize profit payments due on September 30. Transfer requests for the sukuk must be submitted to F.D. Registrar Services (Pvt.) Ltd in Karachi by the close of business on September 27, 2024, to ensure eligibility for this month's profit payment.

The publication of this book closure notice appeared in both English and Urdu in leading Pakistani newspapers, "The Nation" and "Daily Nawa-i-Waqt" respectively, both on September 19, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this notice serves to inform all relevant certificate holders about the necessary administrative procedures required for the processing of their profit payments.
