Karachi: BankIslami Pakistan Limited has notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) of a book closure from October 20, 2024, to October 27, 2024, for its Ehads Sukuk I (BIPLSC) holders, in relation to the monthly profit payment. The closure is set to allow for the determination and disbursement of profits.

The company stated that the transfer books shall remain closed for the specified period, and no transfers of Sukuk will be processed during this time. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transfer requests received in Karachi by the close of business on October 19 will be processed in time for the October profit payout.

BankIslami, through its notice, aims to ensure that all eligible certificate holders are accurately recorded and receive their due profit distributions without discrepancies. This regular financial operation reflects the bank’s commitment to timely and efficient service to its investors.
