Karachi: Bela Automotives Limited has released its financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, highlighting a notable increase in losses compared to the previous year. The company reported a net loss of Rs. 25,249,567, up from Rs. 24,514,639 in 2025, according to its official statement issued on October 14, 2026.
The financial report indicates a significant downturn in the company’s equity, which fell to Rs. 47,211,658 in 2026 from Rs. 72,461,224 in 2025. This decline is attributed primarily to an increase in accumulated losses, which are reflected in the revenue reserves, now at a deficit of Rs. 129,102,140, compared to Rs. 105,264,374 the previous year.
In terms of liabilities, Bela Automotives experienced a rise in current liabilities, which now stand at Rs. 169,383,794, an increase from Rs. 155,933,797 in 2025. This rise is largely due to higher trade and other payables, which climbed to Rs. 11,910,782 from Rs. 10,178,998, along with an increase in accrued markup, now at Rs. 56,739,227 compared to Rs. 48,739,227 last year.
The company's assets also saw a contraction, with total assets valued at Rs. 218,776,852, down from Rs. 230,510,317 in the previous fiscal year. The reduction is noticeable in current assets, which decreased to Rs. 69,751,437 from Rs. 79,325,883.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Bela Automotives Limited did not report any sales for the 2026 fiscal year, while the cost of sales decreased marginally to Rs. 4,189,932 from Rs. 4,682,063. Despite the reduced cost of sales, the company’s gross loss remained substantial, aligned with the previous year’s figures.
Operating expenses increased to Rs. 13,059,444, up from Rs. 11,832,385, contributing to the heightened operational losses. The finance cost remained unchanged at Rs. 8,000,191, leading to a loss before taxation of Rs. 25,249,567, compared to Rs. 24,514,639 in 2025.
Bela Automotives' loss per share also widened to Rs. 4.35 from Rs. 4.23, reflecting the increased financial strain on the company. The company, which falls under the automotive sector in the designated market category, continues to face significant financial challenges without reported sales, underscoring the critical need for strategic adjustments to reverse its fiscal trajectory.
