Bestway Cement Limited Reports Strong Financial Performance Amid Expansive Operations

Islamabad: Bestway Cement Limited, a subsidiary of the Bestway Group, has reported robust financial results for the fiscal year as of September 29, 2026. The company, part of a diversified international group, remains the number one cement producer in Pakistan, showcasing its significant market influence and operational capacity in the region.

The Bestway Group, a prominent family-owned business operating from the United Kingdom, reported a revenue of $7.9 billion, an EBITDA of $1.4 billion, and a profit before tax of $1.2 billion. The group employs over 63,000 individuals worldwide and serves more than 12 million customers. It holds the distinction of being the seventh largest family business in the UK and the largest overseas investor in Pakistan.

Within the UK market, the group operates Bestway Wholesale, Well Pharmacy, and a substantial real estate portfolio. Bestway Wholesale is the leading independent food wholesaler with a revenue of $3.6 billion and a 15% market share. Well Pharmacy, the second largest UK digital pharmacy, holds a 5.5% share in the pharmacy sector. The group's real estate portfolio, valued at $1.34 billion, has 56% of its assets concentrated in London and the South East.

In Pakistan, Bestway Cement reported revenue of PKR 108.3 billion, which reflects its position as the foremost cement producer in the country, boasting an annual capacity of 15.3 million tonnes. The group's other ventures in Pakistan include United Bank Limited, possessing assets of $54.5 billion, making it the top bank by market capitalization, and businesses such as Bestway Packaging, Bestway Renewable Technologies, and Bestway Consultancy Services.
