Bhanero Textile Mills Limited Reports Significant Profit Growth Amid Financial Restructuring

Karachi: Bhanero Textile Mills Limited has reported a significant growth in profit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, marking an impressive turnaround in its financial performance. The textile company recorded a profit after taxation of Rs. 700,269,451, a very large increase from the Rs. 114,229,053 reported in the previous year ending June 30, 2025. This development was disclosed in the company's annual financial report dated September 29, 2026.

The company’s sales revenue increased to Rs. 33.72 billion from Rs. 32.91 billion, reflecting a moderate move in its net sales. The gross profit also saw an upward trajectory, reaching Rs. 2.97 billion compared to Rs. 2.59 billion from the previous fiscal year. This growth in profitability is accompanied by an increase in other income which rose to Rs. 442.14 million from Rs. 193.60 million.

Bhanero Textile Mills Limited's financial restructuring efforts are evident as the company managed to decrease its current liabilities significantly. The short-term borrowings decreased from Rs. 7.91 billion to Rs. 4.38 billion, indicating strategic financial management. However, the long-term financing saw a slight increase to Rs. 3.00 billion from Rs. 2.99 billion.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's issued, subscribed and paid-up capital remained constant at Rs. 30,409,640. Reserves also showed stability at Rs. 9.11 billion, while unappropriated profit increased to Rs. 2.35 billion from Rs. 1.64 billion, highlighting the company's strengthened equity position.

The company's balance sheet reveals total equity and liabilities amounting to Rs. 11.67 billion, reflecting a robust financial standing. In terms of expenses, the finance cost decreased to Rs. 980.93 million from Rs. 1.16 billion, showcasing effective cost management strategies.

In addition, Bhanero Textile Mills Limited reported a total comprehensive income of Rs. 708.76 million, a substantial improvement from the previous year’s Rs. 96.54 million. This includes an actuarial gain on remeasurement of employee retirement benefits, which contributed Rs. 8.65 million, further bolstering the company’s financial results.
