Karachi: Big Bird Foods Limited has officially announced that its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to be held at Lahore on October 28, 2024. The AGM will address several key points, including the re-election of directors and the adoption of financial statements.
According to the notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the agenda of the meeting includes the confirmation of minutes from the last AGM, the adoption of audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, and the re-appointment of auditors for the upcoming fiscal year. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the shareholders will also be asked to elect ten directors for the next term based on the nominations approved by the board of directors, in compliance with Section 162 of the Companies Act, 2017.
Among the directors up for re-election are Abdul Basit, Muhammad Mustafa Kamal, Abdul Karim, Saadia Karim, Muhammad Aleem, Tariq Hamid, and Muhammad Tabbassum Munir. These individuals have served Big Bird Foods in various capacities and are eligible for another term.
