Karachi: Blue-Ex Limited has announced the book closure dates for the subdivision of its shares, following the approval of special resolutions at its Extraordinary General Meeting on February 11, 2026. The decision involves reducing the face value of the company's shares from Rs. 10 to Rs. 1 per share.
The company's share transfer books will be closed on February 21, 2026, to determine eligibility for the newly subdivided shares. According to the company's statement, members listed in the Register of Members as of February 20, 2026, will be eligible to receive the shares with the reduced face value.
Shareholders holding shares in physical form are instructed to submit their original share certificates, along with duly verified transfer deeds, if applicable, and a certified copy of their CNIC. These documents are to be submitted to the company's Share Registrar, CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, located at 99-B, Block B, S.M.C.H.S., Main Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi, after February 21, 2026, to facilitate the exchange for new share certificates.
The notice for the book closure and details of the share subdivision will be published in both English and Urdu newspapers on February 13, 2026. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the designated market category for this subdivision will be communicated to the TRE Certificate holders of the Exchange accordingly.
This move by Blue-Ex Limited marks a significant step in altering the structure of its shareholding, aligning with the resolutions approved at the recent meeting.
