Islamabad: The regulatory commission has granted Blue-Ex Limited an extension to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. The company is now scheduled to convene the meeting by November 27, 2024, where it will present its audited financial statements.
This extension follows an application submitted by Blue-Ex Limited on September 27, 2024, requesting additional time to prepare for their AGM in compliance with sections 132 and 223 of the Companies Act 2017. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this approval comes directly from the competent authorities, underscoring the regulatory flexibility in accommodating corporate governance amidst administrative and financial planning challenges.
The extension allows Blue-Ex more time to finalize and lay out its financial statements accurately for shareholder scrutiny, ensuring that all statutory obligations and transparency standards are maintained. This decision by the commission is issued without prejudice, meaning it does not exempt the company from any future actions the Commission might initiate for non-compliance with the Act's requirements.
